Trevlyn Kennedy is a poet, actress, singer, student and community programmer based in Toronto. Trevlyn began her journey on stage at age 16 through theatre, and has since brought to life the stories of growing up in the inner city, immigration, gentrification, politics, sexual violence, and “youth-hood”. Her continuous involvement in community work and the facilitation of her own programs have sparked her to illuminate the issues that people often overlook. Her neighbourhood, Regent Park, and her passion to evoke feeling has been a major source for her drive and creativity.
