Jennifer is a set, costume and lighting designer based in Toronto. Born in Halifax, but raised in Lahr (Germany) and Ottawa, she holds a BFA and an MFA in theatre design (from Concordia University and the University of Alberta, respectively), as well as a BA (Honours) in mathematics and economics from Queen’s University. Jennifer’s theatre design work has been seen across Canada from coast to coast, and in New York and Europe. She is the recipient of a Montreal English Critics Circle Award for best set design for 7 Stories (Tableau d’Hôte) and a Robert Merritt Award for outstanding costume design for The Tempest (Two Planks and a Passion). When she isn’t designing, Jennifer can be found hanging out with her dog, Daisy, or pursuing her new-found passion for surfing.
